i have a wide foot and was pleasanly surprised at how comfy the 11d was . I have been looking for a well vented shoe and i think i have found it .the velcro straps make this a highly adjustable shoe .

I had my eyes on these shoes for several years, but at $400+ there was no way I could justify buying them. I got them on sale for $142, and I think that's because Mavic has re-designed the Huez line, and the retailer was liquidating their remaining stock. Lucky for me -- these shoes are simply awesome. Super-light, super-cool (mesh-type material), and super stiff carbon sole. I've tried all the closure systems, but 3 velcro straps remains the best -- simple, light, and easy to adjust on-the-fly. These shoes look great too, I daresay better than the new version. Two downsides: 1) They run about a half size large, 2) The footbed is crap (I recommend Specialized high performance footbeds).
