Best cycling shoes I've ever used (Diadora and Pearl Izumi). The sole is very stiff and the shoe itself is very lite and comfortable and construction and materials quality is top notch. Definitely recommend this shoe. Cool enough for Summer, rode in 100+ degree temperature and my feet were not an issue. Don't know about winter riding, but there is a lot of ventilation in this shoe so shoe covers will definitely be required.

So I have a size 13 ee. That is kind of wide. I had a hard time finding a shoe in a store (performance, rei, local bike store, etc). Everything was tight and nothing fit well. It was even tough to find a 13. I guess big footed people don't ride bikes? I put on some pearl izumi running shoes at a 13 and they fit perfectly so I thought they might be the same. They were and I am glad I took a chance. These carbon shoes are the best bike shoes I've ever had. Very light and comfortable and they breathe well too. No hot spots and no toe pressure. Heel cups well. The straps hold well and they red color is actually very nice. I've been riding on them for a couple months now 3 times a week and have some long rides and races with them so I would have found a problem by now. Shoes with the same specs normally cost a lot more than this so I am impressed. By the way, i just bought their normal 13 and it wasn't wide or anything. I'm pretty much a big fan of pearl izumi now. I think I'll go check out their bicycling clothing.
